 Ideally suited to recording instruments of any kind, thanks to its ability to capture stunning performances from woodwind, strings, percussion, brass, guitar and other strummed instruments.

Using the omnidirectional capsule (optional)  for overhead and room miking or the hypercardioid (optional) for super-focused pickup on instruments such as hi-hat within a drumkit.

STC-1 has also become a go-to for field recording, foley/sound effects, video and film work.

When used in pairs (either two individual STC-1 mics or our stereo pair STC-1S supplied with mounting bar), allowing you to capture impressive detail from acoustic guitar, piano, drumkit, ensemble, choir and more.
